About the Author

cartoon meWelcome and thanks for stopping by Decision. Christ.

My name is Erica and I’m originally from the Washington, DC area and moved to Denver, CO earlier this year. So far I’m having a pretty good time. I’m on a quest to find a church home as well as develop a deeper relationship with God.

I grew up going to church. When I got older I fell away. And it is a constant struggle to stay on the path God has put me on or even to acknowledge the path.

I started Decision. Christ. as a way to hold myself accountable for doing what I need to in order to maintain and continue developing a better relationship with God.

No one said being a Christian would be easy. In fact, I knew when I made the decision long ago that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior that the devil and his minions would be constantly biting at my ankles.

There will be lots of questions and some fun whimsical posts too. So, please don’t take things too seriously here.

Please Note: I’m a pretty honest and straight forward kind of person, and I’m sure there will be posts that offend and that’s okay. Let’s take that opportunity to open a dialogue.

  1. Hi Erica,
You are going to be one very busy lady! Wishing you all the best with the NaBloPoMo. I’ve just dropped by from the Blogging 101 Commons. Hope you are enjoying the course so far.
I like that you are very organised and have clear plans about where you want to take your blog.

    1. Hi Carol and thanks for stopping by. Sorry I’m just getting to this. I am super busy with everything I’m trying to do. Hopefully, I’ll get the hang of it because right now I can honestly say I am overwhelmed.

I stopped by your blog and I really like the way it’s set up. You’ve given me some ideas.

      1. Thank Erica. That’s encouraging to hear – glad I’ve inspired you. I can relate to feeling overwhelmed. The main thing to do is to try and enjoy and benefit from the learning experience – so if that means slowing down the pace to a level I can cope with then that is what I am going to have to do.
Out of interest, which blog did you visit? I actually have two.

  2. Keep it up sister! It really helps to have a place where you share the gospel with others. It helps you not feel alone in your struggle. I am glad that you invest time in ti daily – the LORD will reward your faithfulness! Praying for you 🙂
